LIC to launch new policy 'Jeevan Astha' on Dec 8

Monday 08, December, 2008 AMRAVATI: Life Insurance Corporation will launch a new policy plan 'Jeevan Astha' on December 8 which will assure customers attractive returns. The plan will be open for customers for only 45 days from the date of lauching. Senior Divisional Manager Dilip Dumabre explained about the new plan in the press conference. The scheme will be available upto Jan 25, 2009. Customers can pay one time premium in this plan while the plan will be open for customers from the age group of 13 to 60. The policy term will be for five years and 10 years while the risk cover will be of Rs. 1.5 lakh minimum. On the maturity of the policy, customers will get nine per cent guaranteed addition for five year-term and 10 per cent guaranteed addition for ten year-term. Customers can surrender the policy as well as can get loan on that after one year. Branch Manger Milind Deshpande and other officials were also present.
