Time Storage System

INSTRUCTIONS / GUIDELINES (Prescribed by IRDA) FORYOUR ONLINE TRAINING MODULE/ TIMESTORING SOFTWARE ETC.

It is important that before you commence your training, some of the following constraints & important features of your training module are well understood. This includes among other things, clarifications on the ‘Time Storing Software’. Timing store mechanism. As per the guidelines of the IRDA (24th May 2005) Time Storage Mechanism has been designed to record the time you would have spent on the chapters only and (this does not include the revision tests at the end of every chapter & other training aspects such as Glossary, Abbreviations, etc).
Usually the query among the trainee is, time clocked is less than he/she had spent. Regarding this we clarify the system as follows:
Unless you would have gone through the pages, your time would not get stored. You would automatically get logged-out from the website, in case a page has been kept open for more than 10 Minutes without any interface between you and the computer; i.e. If you have just gone to the website and kept it open without actually using it, time would not be stored.
Maximum time recorded for your pre-recruitment training would be 8 hours during a day. If the login id has been issued for 50 or 25 hrs then your validity period of the login id would be for 15& 8 days respectively. Please note that there would be no extension available for the login ids & the training would have to be completed within the stipulated duration of the training. The time spent on the Revision Test would not constitute as part of the total time stored. You would be required to spend a minimum time written before every chapter 'in course study – chapters' link to get certified for the completion of your training. The time spent in the training module could be viewed by clicking on the link 'Reports-Study report’.
